Loyola Retreat House

Loyola Retreat House is the perfect place to “Come away to the Quiet.”

With 75 acres of lawns, fields, gardens, and wooded pathways, Loyola’s primary purpose is to offer a warm and welcoming environment for prayer, solitude, and quiet reflection.

Loyola has been very hospitable in opening the entire house for our group’s use. It has 38 rooms available. They understand our purpose and goal of silence and solitude. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the house itself is very clean and neat. All rooms are on the first floor. Several have private baths. The meals are homemade by their resident chef. The entry to the property is easily accessible from I-77 (south of Akron)

Structure of the retreat

Throughout the day, your companions will be…scripture, God’s creation, your journal, and prayer. There will be an opportunity to meet with a director for spiritual direction and prayer
